The "Lied United" concert series for acoustic songs in Cologne continues in June, and for the second time in the cozy Loreley pub.

Lovers of German-language indie music should not miss this evening.

ASANT is the German-language indie pop project around the musician Jan Liesefeld from Cologne, which he presents solo for Lied United. Hamburg School meets New Wave, melancholy and euphoria, paired with the sometimes rough, sometimes dreamy voice of Jan Liesefeld, who tells stories from everyday life and, almost incidentally, deals with the big themes of life.

Stiller Teilhaber is another German singer/songwriter from Solingen, who says about himself: "Entangled in his own lyrics, tugged back and forth by edgy guitar riffs and notes, losing his balance in beautiful melodies and expressing anger and love rather than irony and distance as a stubborn anti-capitalist wearing second-hand pinstripes, he doesn't do one thing above all: he doesn't talk about things that have nothing to do with his life.

As always, the evening will be hosted by Wolfgang A. Noethen, then perhaps also in German. And who knows, perhaps he will also perform a small live set together with his two fellow hosts Markus Apitius and Robert Gasper.
