Two duos and the melancholy treasure chest

For the third time now, the three creators of the Cologne concert series Lied United are presenting their songwriter series at their new home, the cult and cozy Loreley pub. And once again, lovers of acoustic indie music will get their money's worth.

Spooky Doo is a songwriting duo consisting of Andreas Lambert and Thomas Widdig, who have known each other since the 90s and wrote songs together for their band Train Kill Liza, which they are now bringing to the stage together once again in acoustic form and reinterpreted.

The Cologne duo Ich & Chopin make beautiful, melancholic and funny singer-songwriter pop. Misanthropic lyrics for philanthropists meet strum guitar, grand piano and other instruments such as French horn and melodica. The two musicians sing about the difference between Main and Mississippi, neurotic obsession with old buildings, the beauty of sad music and answer the question of why Hagen only has a correspondence university. They call it "melancholic music entertainment".

This fits in with the announcements by Cologne melancholic comedian Wolfgang A. Noethen, who hosts the evening as usual. This time, Markus Apitius will provide support from the Lied United crew with his incredible range between singer/songwriter and psychedelic.
