Lieder der Sesamstraße - Kinderkonzert

Sesame Street celebrated its 50th birthday on German television in 2023: a good reason to celebrate the songs of the traditional series! After all, it's not just an educational children's program, but also music full of wit and wisdom. For the musicians of the Hamburg Art Ensemble, the melodies are a familiar part of their own musical imprint - so the idea was born to rearrange the classics and pass them on to the next generation. In the 45-minute concert, hits such as "Der, die, das", "Mahna, Mahna" and "Ernies Quietscheentchenlied" are brought to the stage by singers Laura Saleh and Anne Stabler together with a jazz trio consisting of Melanie Streitmatter (bass), Hauke Renken (vibraphone) and Leon Saleh (drums). Great fun for young and old, inviting you to dance and sing along!
