Singer-songwriter evening
At the singer-songwriter evening, we invite you to listen to two up-and-coming talents from Hamburg. Emotions, politics and big questions. This is what 19-year-old singer-songwriter and author Leonore Lilja from Hamburg writes about. Direct and honest, sad and hopeful, funny and deadly serious - this is how you experience Leonore Lilja on stage. Pop meets classical music and activism meets singer-songwriter.
Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, she composes songs on the piano or guitar. She also produces her songs herself. She is inspired by social issues as well as her own feelings. Leonore actively campaigns for climate protection, mental health, feminism and anti-fascism.
Alexander Reuter writes songs in German, which he accompanies with the concert guitar. The lyrics are sometimes funny, sometimes sentimental, often both and more.
With some wit and sophisticated melodies, he deals with topics such as rewritten CVs, past friendships, the first gray hair, the celebrity gossip press, life in large shared flats or the most plausible conspiracy theory in music history. Serious topics such as the climate catastrophe also have their place in his songs.
