"Light The Cannons is a four-piece alternative rock band from across Europe based in Hamburg, Germany. Consisting of guitarist Chris and drummer Henry, both from the UK, vocalist Anni from Germany and bassist Serena from Italy, the band channels diverse lyrical themes through an equally colorful musical palette, delivering anthemic songs with huge choruses, all filtered through a combination of dark humor and a healthy dose of pop sensibility and punk energy.

The band's lyrics deal with mental health, consumerism, sometimes love (and sometimes heartbreak) and everything in between. Musically, the spectrum ranges from slower, acoustic-tinged pop to harder, driving rock.

Light the Cannons have earned a reputation in and around Hamburg for their energetic live show and their inclusive and open attitude towards music and creativity. Their performances are characterized by friendship, openness and humour as well as a clear love for their music.

The debut EP "Welcome To The Family" is the perfect showcase for Light The Cannons, with Anni's sensational vocal style, Chris' eclectic riffs and leads, Henry's raw power and technique and the kinetic throb of Serena's intricate basslines."
