LIKE A COMPLETE UNKNOWN is set in the influential New York music scene of the early 1960s and follows the meteoric rise of 19-year-old musician BOB DYLAN (Timothée Chalamet) from Minnesota from folk singer in small clubs to concert halls to the top of the charts.

His songs and mystical personality became a worldwide sensation, culminating in his groundbreaking performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, where he picked up the electric guitar for the first time.
