Lina (Celina) and Bó (Luca Bo) met in 2018 while studying music at the Artez in the Netherlands. In addition to music, they share a passion for traveling and making street music. They got to know many people, countries, cultures and musical styles and wrote songs based on their experiences. The Cuban from Cologne and the Danish from Flensburg enchant with South American temperament and German-language folk-pop flair.
In 2020, the two got to know the producer team Elephant Musik and started working together. After 2 years of working together, a finished music bachelor's degree and hundreds of live shows under their belt, Lina Bó was offered a record deal by Sony Music in 2022.
After the first single releases: Weiblich and Hallo Welt were followed by TV appearances, support shows with Jimmy Kelly's Streetorchester, Anna R, Jamaram and Santiano.
The debut EP "Lina Bó" was released in 2024. Their songs are sometimes melancholic, sometimes danceable. They are not afraid to tackle socio-political issues. Lina Bó want to bring hope and give people more incentive to "burn for something". "Take a look, get involved, say what you think out loud! It's up to us where we go, what we believe in and what we stand for, we are the captain."
