Cordula Stratmann presents her new book "Wo war ich stehen geblieben? Musings and flashes of inspiration"
When should you think through all the questions that life throws up? No sooner do you think you've come up with a final thought than the next question arises. Cordula Stratmann tries anyway. She thinks about small and big things in our lives, about ants and parental love, about diversity and wokeness, about sport and glasses. She astutely probes where it hurts and makes us laugh out loud where only cheerfulness can help. We are always dealing with her personally, with her experience as a therapist, mother, actress and comedian. A self-knitted ABC for smiling and thinking: openly critical of the times, timelessly profound, unmistakably eloquent and full of humor.
Cordula Stratmann, born in Düsseldorf, has been regarded as one of the funniest women in Germany ever since she revolutionized the art of improvisation in the cult series 'Schillerstrasse' and shone as Annemie Hülchrath in 'Zimmer frei! The award-winning comedian is also a convincing actress in numerous television and cinema productions and a successful author. She has also been working in her day job as a systemic family therapist in her own practice in Cologne for several years.
"Wo war ich stehen geblieben?" will be published on 05.09.2024, 224 pages, dtv
