Literaturkreis: Jens Sparschuh: "Nicht wirklich"

The author: Jens Sparschuh, born in 1955 in Chemnitz (Karl-Marx-Stadt), studied philosophy and logic in Leningrad from 1973-1978. He completed his doctorate in Berlin in 1983 and has worked as a freelancer ever since.

The book: "Not really"

"Truth is only the most expedient error" - as Vaihinger claimed in his main work "The Philosophy of As If". One hundred years later, Dr. Anton Lichtenau, a private lecturer in philosophy, wonders how many expedient errors his own life has consisted of. An unforeseen event on the way to a lecture has completely confused him.

The literary circle of the Bonn theater community does not aspire to a university level. It is therefore not necessary to have any particular previous education. The only requirement is that participants have read the book by the time of the respective meeting and are able to engage in a discussion about the book and different points of view. The meetings can be attended independently of each other. The literature circle is led by Dr. Michaela Wurzer, who works at the Theatergemeinde Bonn.
