Liv Andersson & Saturndaze - Doppelkonzert

To mark their debut releases, Hamburg artists Liv Andersson and Saturndaze are playing a release tour on which they will perform the songs from their two projects together in acoustic arrangements with two-part vocals. The audience can expect an evening with an interesting mixture of dark folk and pop-rock inspired by the sound of the 70s.

Listening to Liv Andersson's music is like listening to a conversation. With warm timbres, vivid lyricism and cinematic arrangements, the German-British musician creates emotional worlds and moods that seem to lie somewhere between waking and dreaming. On her debut EP, which will be released in November, she combines elements of folk, jazz and trip hop in her very own way and is reminiscent of artists such as Laura Marling, Fiona Apple and Portishead. Liv Andersson's folk noir varies between fragility and expressiveness. And there is always a certain melancholy in it.

Saturndaze
Rilana and her Hamburg band Saturndaze promise an emotional journey full of nostalgic security with a modern attitude with their songs, whose melodies you look for in your memories of the music of the 70s and don't find. The songs were created in the now as a tribute to this great era of pop music when bands like Queen and Supertramp tried their hand at complex and pop-oriented arrangements. Her debut album "Facades" will be released in November and will be presented to a Berlin audience for the first time.
