Californian Brant Bjork is one of the godfathers of desert & stoner rock and has written music history with Kyuss and Fu Manchu! His concerts in the early days of the Kantine 20 years ago are probably still among the best concerts Augsburg has ever seen.

Brant Björk has spent over a quarter of a century in the epicenter of California desert rock. From playing drums and composing the legendary Kyuss albums to pushing the groundbreaking fuzz of Fu Manchu from 1994 to 2001, while producing other bands, putting together projects and over the last 20 years launching his solo career as a singer, guitarist and bandleader, starting his own record label and much more, His story is a convoluted tale of relentless, unabashed creativity.
Brant Björk is one of the founding pioneers of the Stoner Rock / Desert Rock music scene.
