A world traveler's perspective on American folk-rock - ROLLING STONE [US]

Ian Fisher left his home state of Missouri at the age of 21 to travel the roads of Europe for 15 years. His music, described by Rolling Stone as "half Americana & half Abbey Road-worthy pop," combines his rural, Midwestern upbringing with a sensitivity born of his time abroad. Simple but emotionally complex, he has the acoustic charm of an early Jeff Tweedy and a sentimental writing style à la Townes Van Zandt.

Fisher has written two thousand songs and played them at a thousand gigs in Europe, Africa and North America. He lives between Toronto, Vienna and the family farm. Ian Fisher will present his latest album "Go Gentle" on tour in 2025, together with Jonas David (Keys & Percussion), Johanna Seitinger (Backing Vocals & Bass) and Richard Case (Pedal Steel Guitar).
