Hezron Chetty is a violinist, composer and performer known for his innovative style, fed by folk/world music, rock, jazz and spoken word. In his intense live performances, the South African with Indian roots combines rhythmic violin loops with storytelling and interactive elements. Chetty has played in countless constellations over the years, has traveled extensively and toured internationally. He has supported artists such as Incubus, Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy), Jocelyn Brown (Incognito), Finley Quaye, Paco Sery (Jaco Pastorius, Joe Zawinul) and Vieux Farka Touré.
