European C.O.D. Summer Bash '25

Obituary are one of the most important bands in Florida death metal and are undoubtedly one of the most influential metal bands of the 1980s. With their albums "Slowly We Rot" (1989) and "Cause Of Death" (1990), they strongly influenced the development of US death metal and clearly distinguished their own sound between death metal and hardcore from the streams of black metal and grindcore. This is one of the reasons why the band's debut album is regarded by fans and critics as a prototypical death metal album. Tracks such as "Redneck Stomp", "Chopped In Half" and "Slowly We Rot" are considered classics of the genre and are celebrated by a worldwide fanbase for their raw death metal sound. With their latest album "Dying of Everything", Obituary 2023 proved once again that they have lost none of their power and unique riffs. Currently on the road as main support for Sepultura's farewell tour, Obituary will be coming to Germany for three headline shows in November and December, performing songs from the band's 40-year history.
