We welcome you once again under the open sky live in front of the halls!
JISKA:
When you listen to the young artist JISKA talk about her music, it's as if someone is chatting about something that has simply always been there. Between her grandfather's music school and her mother's backstage, the Stuttgart musician finds her way to the bass and begins to write poetry on it, accompanied by the humming of a soft, soulful voice.
With relaxed self-confidence, she reaches into the drawers of pop and soul and sprinkles it into songs that sound fresh and yet are reminiscent of the old. A dusty saxophone or a string quartet meets pulsating groove and a voice that is close. She sings about love for herself, about self-care and about love that has failed.
Sounds like: Lily Allen, Rex Orange County, Olivia Dean
Youcallmecarla:
youcallmecarla, that's Carla Freude (she/her), a twenty-three-year-old singer/songwriter from near Ludwigsburg.
Carla began writing her own songs at the age of fifteen and started playing the guitar at 19. Her extraordinary voice and unmistakable sound make the hearts of indie-pop fans beat faster.
