In the organizer's words:

The 80s are an invitation to nostalgia... People didn't have smartphones yet and actually talked to each other, nobody could seriously claim that nuclear energy was safe and clean and the global political situation was a dream because the Cold War was actually more cold than hot.

Well, joking aside, but one thing is meant to be deadly serious at this point: the music of the 80s is still a hit 40 years later. Who can seriously disagree with that? Whether you're proletarian or bourgeois, Ossi or Wessi, popper or punk: Alphaville, Cindy Lauper, Toto and whatever they're all called simply put a smile on everyone's face and get your body moving...

So here we go, we invite you to the first "Living in the Past" party. The DJ team Twice as Nice from Neubrandenburg will be bringing the hottest records and playing the sound of the 80s throughout the evening. From the hits that everyone knows to previously unknown B-sides that have it all... Get your glitter pants out of the closet and get ready to dance into the past!
