Looking at Life differently - Queer Art

In the organizer's words:

Under the title "Looking at Life differently", 6 artists present their art and thus show different insights into queer life worlds. Some of the artists deal explicitly with queer themes in art, while others are only peripherally influenced by queer themes in their art. 6 different angles and perspectives offer visitors a multifaceted and in-depth exploration of queer identities and forms of expression.

In addition to explicit explorations of queer themes, there are also works that contain subtle and indirect references to queer experiences. These artworks invite viewers to take a closer look and find their own interpretations. "Looking at Life differently" succeeds in impressively depicting the complexity and diversity of queer lifeworlds and at the same time encourages reflection and dialog. The different artistic approaches and forms of expression make it clear that queer art cannot be reduced to a single theme or style, but is a lively and dynamic field that is constantly changing and opening up new perspectives.

The exhibition invites us to challenge preconceptions, promote understanding and celebrate the beauty and complexity of the queer community. It offers space for reflection and inspiration and helps to strengthen the visibility and recognition of queer art and artists.
