Lord Finesse

Lord Finesse, Bronx-born rapper and producer, debuted in 1990 with The Funky Technician alongside DJ Mike Smooth. He co-founded the legendary D.I.T.C. crew with Diamond D and Showbiz, later joined by Big L, Fat Joe, and others. Finesse mentored Big L and produced much of his debut album. As a solo artist, he returned with Return of the Funky Man (1992) and fully produced The Awakening (1996), featuring icons like KRS-One and MC Lyte. His production credits include classics by The Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre, Capone-N-Noreaga, and Fatboy Slim. He continues to tour globally and is set to release multiple projects in 2025, including Funky Technician 35th Anniversary and The SP1200 Project II.
