After the spotlight at the Casino burst at the seams at the last "The Sound of Rock acoustic" event, Lorena Huber and Hagen Grohe will take you on a journey through the rock scene of the 80s/90s in 2026. Even without the typical electric guitar sounds, the two prove their love of rock music with their unmistakable vocal power. Accompanied acoustically by Marcus Volpert and Tobias Ruf, they present well-known songs by Aerosmith, Alannah Myles, Bon Jovi, Beth Hart, Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, AC/DC, Journey, Melissa Etheridge, Queen and many other rock legends as self-arranged rock duets.

Hagen Grohe began his musical career at the age of 16 as a singer and bassist in his native Palatinate and successfully completed his studies at the SAE Frankfurt as a graduate audio engineer. At the beginning of 2009, Joe Perry (lead guitarist and co-songwriter of the American rock band Aerosmith) noticed him through a video and promptly signed him up as a singer for his solo album, which was released at the end of 2009. As the permanent lead singer of THE JOE PERRY PROJECT, he accompanied him and the band on several tours across the USA, Canada and Great Britain, together with other rock greats such as Slash, Mötley Crüe and Bad Company. Although primarily a rock singer, Hagen's enormous vocal range enables him to perform almost anything convincingly. In recent years, he has developed into one of the best and most sought-after rock singers on the music scene. Hagen Grohe is currently working on a new classic rock show concept called THE STARS OF ROCK, which premiered in 2022, as well as his new cover band ROCKWOOD.

Lorena Huber is a professional singer with roots in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim. With her naturally likeable manner, her soulful yet powerful voice, she won the coveted "German Rock and Pop Award" in Siegen in 2017 as best rock singer and was nominated for the category "best female singer". In recent years, she has performed on stage at Capitol Mannheim's own production "Mauerspringer", at the "European Open" in Hamburg, at "Adler Mannheim" and as the support act for "Ray Wilson" and "Subway to Sally". When she is not on the road with the acoustic bands "Taste of White", "Acoustic Rock Night", "AMOkoustic" or as a vocal soloist with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, or rocking the stages of the Rhine-Neckar region with her own band "Lorena Huber & THE ROCKING SOULS", she has appeared as a guest singer in various productions alongside artists such as Sascha Krebs (Tanz der Vampire), Stefan Kahne (Andreas Kümmert), Arno Sälzer (Söhne Mannheims), Herbert Jösch (Heavytones TV-Total) and Claus Hassing (Bryan Adams Tribute). In addition to rock music, she enjoys presenting musicals and cabaret in order to pursue her passion for acting and dancing. She is particularly fond of musical charity events, which she plans and organizes herself. In the future, Lorena Huber would like to take her music dinner "Sweet Sounds" on the road and work on her own German rock songs with depth of content.
