Italian pianist and composer Lorenzo Masotto presents his new live program Between Silence and Sound at Kulturhaus Schwanen on Friday, 14 November 2025 - a sonically dense, atmospherically permeated journey through over ten years of musical research.

Masotto's latest album Earde (2025, Whitelabrecs UK) is strongly influenced by his travels: Iceland, the Dolomites, Lessinia - landscapes that become acoustic narratives in his compositions. His pieces unfold like notes between inner world and observation of nature, between improvisation and tonal architecture.

Trained at the Verona Conservatory and the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar, Masotto combines classical virtuosity with the openness of jazz, the sound awareness of neoclassical music and the energy of experimental rock music. The result is intense, quiet and at the same time emphatic piano pieces that lead straight to the emotional center.

Known from performances in renowned venues such as the Union Chapel (London), the Teatro Iberico (Lisbon) or Smock Alley Theatre (Dublin), Masotto now invites you to Waiblingen for an evening that puts listening and pausing back at the center - far from the spectacle, close to the resonance.
