We are delighted to be performing our "LostParadise" productions again in the powerful space of St. Gertrude's Church!

For 50 years of inclusion, this venue is a real highlight.

The director, Kristof Szabo, has written the production for St. Gertrud. After "LostParadise Eva" is before the premiere

"LostParadise Adam"

LOST PARADISE is a poetic, urgent appeal against exclusion and the pressure to conform.

More than 10 people with disabilities are involved in the production: Photographers, speakers, actors, poets, performers, all of them professional, a total of over 30 participants

Basis 1 of this production is the poetic work Paradise Lost by the blind John Milton.

Kristóf Szabó questions and reinterprets.

"The salvation that Jesus promises is the love that transcends categories and value judgments."

Basis2 The poet Hergit Albrecht expresses this longing. A thalidomide victim herself, in her texts she overcomes the loneliness and exclusion she has suffered all her life. With every sentence, she reaches out a hand - seeking reconciliation.

Finally, basis 3 Kenneth Patchen , a forerunner of U.S. beat literature, describes the world from the perspective of someone who has been driven out of the heavens.

Other highlights include the technical staging of photos, film, large-scale projections and voices that fill the vast space, as well as the Devil's Avatar and the organ compositions for Lost Paradise by Giorgi Shekiladze.

Last but not least, the highlight is the surreal stage set designed by Kristóf Szabó, the young, passionately committed performers and the many class members working and designing in the background.
