Lotta is celebrating her fifth birthday and can actually do everything, even ride a bike. But her siblings think she's still too small for that. She borrows her neighbor's big bike and skilfully whizzes into the nearest rose bush. But that doesn't stop Lotta from bravely forging ahead. She single-handedly saves Easter with chocolate Santas and gets a Christmas tree on her own. The little girl is bursting with self-confidence and a thirst for adventure.
