Love Lies Bleeding

On her way to a competition in the gambling metropolis of Las Vegas, penniless Jackie (Katy O'Brian) ends up in a sleepy little town. There, the bodybuilder meets the reclusive gym manager Lou (Kristen Stewart). The two quickly hit it off. They become a couple and Jackie joins the shooting club of Lou's father, Lou Sr. (Ed Harris) - much to the displeasure of Lou, who knows about her father's criminal activities and hasn't had any contact with him for several years. Together, Jackie and Lou dream of being able to start a new, better life in California. Lou therefore helps Jackie with her bodybuilding - by providing her with steroids. And so the shadows loom ever larger over their lives until they are finally swept away by a dark wave of violence.
