Sewn in a factory by eight-year-old Anand, the lion with the crooked eye has an important mission: to deliver a letter to God. A journey full of fateful encounters begins for the lion. He ends up with young people from a wide variety of geographical and social backgrounds: Won over by Emma at a funfair, he undergoes a momentous procession. As a donation to Zula, he witnesses new friendships. In the hands of visionary Kiano, he becomes a commodity of hope. At Amari's side, he serves as a protective shield.
