LP - Listening Pleasures

In the age of playlists, shuffle functions and Spotify, we're switching down a gear and turning on the record player. Listening Pleasures is all about listening: an album - an LP - in its entirety, in one piece and without (commercial) interruption. Because this is the only way an album can unfold its magical attraction, enchant us and cast a spell over us.

Protagonists of the Tübingen music, art and culture scene present selected long-playing records with a short introduction to the album, band and artists. In a relaxed atmosphere and with cold drinks, you can listen and discover what's inside the groove.
TODAY: Ralf Bertscheit (Künstlerbund Tübingen) presents the first official album "But this chicken proved falsehearted" (Plug Research, 2006) by Sam Amidon. The album was originally released on the Los Angeles-based electronic label Plug Research. It was reissued on CD and LP by Omnivore Recordings in 2015. Sam Amidon is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
