Paderborn, February 2025 - Music thrives on interpretation, on the tension between control and freedom. Lucas Michels mastersboth - and makes the stage his playground. On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 15:00 to 18:00, the Paderborn solo pianist will take his audience on an improvised sound journey through jazz, classical music and modern melodies. The KAWAII Restaurant invites you to this special concert, admission is free.

An artist who shapes the moment

Lucas Michels is not a pianist who merely plays notes - he reinvents them. His music happens in the moment. Full improvisations, jazzy harmonies, classical motifs, modern influences - everything flows together in his playing.

Michels already made a name for himself as a live musician during his music studies at the University of Paderborn, which he completed in 2023. He financed his studies with gigs large and small, playing on stages such as the Paderhalle and the Deelenhaus and developing his own style in the process: a mixture of spontaneity and structure, elegance and joy of playing.

His repertoire ranges from jazz standards to self-created worlds of sound. Sometimes light as a feather, sometimes profound, but always with the aim of taking the audience on a musical journey. It's worth listening.
