Lucile And The Rakibuam's hearts beat in irregular beats. They describe their music as "Electro-Dynamic-Psych-Folk!" Their repertoire is based on old folk songs, traditional hits and forgotten popular songs from the musical archives of Anatolia and the Middle East. These migrated with the psychedelic wave of the 60s and 70s around the Mediterranean and from East to West. In the process, many interpretations were created in different languages.

The band's sound is rooted in the early productions of the Turkish rock scene. This opens up comparisons with bands such as Altın Gün or Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek. But these Munich boys go even further: elements of funk, surf rock, ethno-jazz, dub, breakbeat and electronica are natural elements in their sound mix. This brings them close to Istanbul acts such as Babazula and Elektro Hafiz. The extraordinary collective of musicians from Bavaria knows how to skillfully enrich the earthy groove of the Eurasian region with experimental and individual arrangements. The combination of traditional instruments with the sounds of synthesizers, acid sequences borrowed from electro and samples give their music a unique touch. Their energetic and explosive joy of playing is quickly transferred to the audience. No two concerts sound the same. Improvisation is a core element for them - it fuels the organic nature of the arrangements. The result sounds dirty and impetuous - this music growls, but also offers plenty of dynamics and gentle passages that put their listeners into a trance.
