With "Lulu", an impressive new dance production is coming to the stage of the Ernst Deutsch Theater. Inspired by Frank Wedekind's work of the same name, a captivating dance drama unfolds about lust, power and the fate of a woman who belongs to no one - except death. Under the impressive choreography of Edvin Revazov, Lulu's moving story is told in powerful images and expressive movements - a ballet that blurs the boundaries between seduction and doom.

The Hamburg Chamber Ballet was founded in the summer of 2022 on the initiative of Edvin Revazov and together with Isabelle Rohlfs. As an artistic response to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, the ensemble offers displaced Ukrainian dancers a new home and combines classical and contemporary dance with socially relevant themes. Its productions inspire audiences on renowned stages and are shown throughout Germany and internationally. The ensemble currently comprises six outstanding dancers who evoke emotions and tell stories with every performance. The Hamburg Chamber Ballet stands for art that moves - personally, politically and poetically.
