No sentence describes the Saarbrücken band Lumbematz better. Chaotic, likeable and definitely not run-of-the-mill, they deliver German-language rock with rough edges and a good dose of fun. Their specialty? Two violinists and an energy that turns every concert into an experience.

Anna and the boys have been captivating audiences since their debut Bleibe stehen (2018). With their charismatic style, which lies somewhere between vacation camp and handmade rock music, they have long since made a name for themselves beyond their home country. Over 7 million streams on Spotify, sold-out concerts and appearances at festivals such as Rocco del Schlacko speak for themselves. With the EP Alles ist gut (2020) and the album Nichts Perfekt (2022), they have already proven that German-language rock can also tolerate violin without losing any of its rawness.

Their new album LIGA will be released in 2025. It builds on this spirit, but sounds rougher, more honest and more intense than ever before. The songs, which were recorded live in the studio, tell of friendship, loss, new beginnings and the small and big stories of life. Lumbematz have grown up, but one thing remains: Their concerts still feel like a wild school trip - authentic, approachable and unforgettable.

Whether at festivals, in clubs or as support for greats such as Rogers and Alex Mofa Gang: Lumbematz leave an impression and are a lot of fun. If you invite them, you won't regret it. And if you miss them? Well, then it's your own fault.

In 2023, Friends Don't Lie came out of nowhere and conquered the German pop-punk scene at record speed. Within a month, the trio won the Warsteiner with their first ever gig and shortly afterwards the Let The Players Play Band Contest. This was followed in quick succession by appearances at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Reload, Lollapalooza & Reeperbahn Festival as well as an invitation to Wacken Open Air and their own headline shows.

There has been no standstill since then. The band from the Rhine-Main area released 3 EPs within 18 months, first in English, now in German, and convinced the press and critics. The secret to their success is not a big label or management in the background, but an authentic live show characterized by cohesion. Every performance still feels like the first and the three guys transfer this special energy directly to every audience.
