Lunchkonzert mit dem Ensemble Modern

In the organizer's words:

Would you like to spend your lunch break in Ostend in a different way? We have something for you: a mini-concert of 30 minutes including the opportunity to have lunch during this time. Come to the ROMANFABRIK, have a snack and a drink at our bar and experience members of the internationally acclaimed ENSEMBLE MODERN live at lunchtime. Forget everyday life for a few minutes and immerse yourself in exciting musical worlds.

The first lunchtime concert will feature Le Contredésir for clarinet, horn and cello (2004) by the Jordanian-German composer Saed Haddad, which combines Western and Middle Eastern soundscapes, as well as Daniel Schnyder's Le Monde Minuscule for solo horn (1996) and other chamber music works.

With: Eva Böcker (violoncello), Jaan Bossier (clarinet) and Thomas Mittler (horn).

Served with bright red wine: Lunch 1 - pita bread stuffed with oyster mushrooms & chili mayo, Lunch 2 - belugal lentil salad with beet & chives and for dessert - chocolate mousse with berry ragout & crumble.

A neighborhood project by ROMANFABRIK & Ensemble Modern in cooperation with the restaurant "Leuchtend Roter" (Hotel lyf East).
