Lunchkonzert mit dem Ensemble Modern

In the organizer's words:

Come to the ROMANFABRIK for a slightly different lunch break, have a snack and a drink at our bar and experience members of the internationally acclaimed ENSEMBLE MODERN in a 30-minute mini-concert live at lunchtime.

The second lunchtime concert features two chamber music works for clarinet and piano. Jörg Widmann's Fünf Bruchstücke (Five Fragments ) create small fragments of brevity and thus present new playing techniques that emerged at the end of the 20th century in an intense way. The sonata by Francis Poulenc unfolds an impressive variety of moods in the smallest of spaces - playful, lyrical, melancholy. With: Jaan Bossier (clarinet) and Ueli Wiget (piano).

Served with bright red wine: Lunch 1 - asparagus & leek tart & small salad, Lunch 2 - chickpea with cucumber, celery & parsley and for dessert - carrot cake with frosting.

A neighborhood project by ROMANFABRIK & Ensemble Modern in cooperation with the restaurant "Leuchtend Roter" (Hotel lyf East).
