On December 14, 2019, the tribute band "MAFFAYpur" was awarded the German Rock & Pop Prize in the Cover & Revival category.

The name "Maffay pur" stands for a band formation of professional live and studio musicians who have been very successful on all stages in their home country Germany and Europe for many years.
This tribute show carries the fascination of Peter Maffay's songs in their best versions.

Who doesn't know the songs "Über 7 Brücken musst du gehen", "Und es war Sommer" or "Du".

The popularity of these timeless catchy tunes remains unbroken among young and old alike. "Maffay Pur" has set itself the goal of reproducing the best versions with the greatest possible authenticity.

Based on the legendary concerts of Tattoos Live with the Philharmonie Volkswagen Orchestra, the fantastic Ewig Tour 2009 and the live versions of Maffay 96 Live, the concerts of "Maffay Pur" are staged.
