For more than two decades, Magdalena Kožená has thrilled global audiences as one of the world's leading voices. The New York Times once described her unique presence as: "Vocally elegant, emotionally direct and stylistically adept." In the private atmosphere of the small hall, the singing quick-change artist, accompanied only by Daniele Caminiti's sensitive lute playing, presents a program of baroque classics such as Purcell's world-famous lament "When I am laid in Earth" or arias by the composer and prima donna Barbara Strozzi.
