MAGMA - The new city festival format from the people behind the MELT Festival

With MAGMA, the team behind the MELT Festival presents a new festival format that will shake up the Berlin summer - and at the same time give the starting signal for something completely new. The premiere of MAGMA will take place on Saturday, August 30, transforming the open-air grounds of the RSO Berlin into a space between club-cultural intimacy and the immersive energy of a festival.

MAGMA is aimed at all lovers of sophisticated club music away from the mainstream. On Saturday from 14:00 to 22:00, MAGMA will bring an explosive mix of UK garage, house, breakbeat, future bass, trip hop, baile funk, dancehall, disco and experimental club sounds to the open-air stage. In addition to international masterclass DJs such as Ben UFO, NOORIYAH, Jyoty and Crystallmess, the exceptional producers Mura Masa and Vegyn (DJ Set) are also part of the line-up. Mura Masa delights fans worldwide with his multi-genre approach and is particularly known for his eclectic sample-based sound. Also on the bill: Vegyn - known for his work with Frank Ocean and the recently released and acclaimed remake album Moon Safari (Air). The line-up is rounded off by exceptional acts such as Anz, Suze Ijó, Anu, as well as live sets by INVT and the trip hop singer Alias Error.

MAGMA not only celebrates the summer, but also marks a transition: from the internationally renowned MELT Festival to new, intimate formats with their own identity - but the same attitude. The mission remains the same: carefully curated avant pop & DJ culture, international artists, a diverse audience and an experience to remember.

The RSO Valley in Berlin provides the perfect backdrop for this. With its urban character, bold sound systems and central location, the area becomes the stage for a special kick-off party in the open air. This is where raw club aesthetics meet a summer festival feeling - in the middle of the city.

MAGMA is more than just a classic club night: eight to twelve hours of finely curated music from international artists, food stands, chill-out areas and an atmosphere that focuses on connection, exchange and community. Next year, the team is already thinking bigger - but 2025 will remain deliberately intimate. Tickets are available at community-friendly prices from €21.
