When a logging road is on fire, people run along it all the faster. And where fascists talk about freedom, ruthless profit interests are considered democratic or climate protection is described as terror, things have obviously gone up in flames.
In his program "Das wird man ja ja noch differenzieren dürfen", Maik Martschinkowsky cleverly tries to put real satire into words, to be honest: he actually just throws himself in the way and waves his arms around in panic. In a mixture of cabaret, reading and live radio play, he searches for ways out of the way.
Maik Martschinkowsky is an author, satirist, cabaret artist and radio playwright. In his texts and scenes, he addresses the most important issues in politics, morality and society and tries to explain the world. That usually doesn't work. But it is funny.
He is a member of the Berlin reading stage "Lesedüne" (with Marc-Uwe Kling, Sarah Bosetti, Sebastian Lehmann and Julius Fischer) and travels throughout the German-speaking world with readings and cabaret.
Most recently, he published his book "Die Welt kann ein Lächeln verändern" and the radio play collection "Juten Tacheles". In October 2022, he won the silver Reinheim Satire Lion. He has been on the road with his third solo program "Das wird man ja ja noch differenzieren dürfen!" since March 2024.
