MAKE SMTHNG

In the organizer's words:

Black Friday is a day of unbridled consumerism. We at Greenpeace Cologne want to counteract this and are therefore taking part in MAKE SMTHNG Week. This week of action launched by Greenpeace is all about buying less and making or swapping more yourself.

Accordingly, we cordially invite you to the MAKE SMTNHG event on Saturday, November 30th from 12:00-17:00 in the OT Werkstattstraße in Cologne Nippes. You can expect lots of great upcycling activities, homemade punch and vegan waffles in a relaxed pre-Christmas atmosphere.
You can look forward to the following craft activities:
-Christmas tree decorations made from crown corks
- Poinsettias made from old books
- Sprout glasses made from disposable jars
- Screen printing (probably only from 14:00)
- Self-designed buttons by our Greenpeace artist Sarah
- Wallets made from Tetra Paks
- Bookmarks & envelopes made from magazines & calendars
- Gift wrapping made from toilet paper rolls

There will also be a clothes exchange bar. Please bring a maximum of 1 (!) item of clothing in good condition. On site there will be the opportunity to write a nice message to the future owner.

As always, admission is free. Waffles for a donation. Children under the age of 14 are welcome to attend accompanied by their parents.
