Shortly after Malcolm Todd graduated from high school, he told his parents that he would like to focus on music for a year before continuing his academic career. Since then, the singer has worked every day to expand his fanbase, write better music and build a career with his sound between indie pop and R&B. With great success. It wasn't long before he went viral on TikTok with songs like "Art House" and "Roommates" and signed to Columbia Records, where he released his debut mixtape "Sweet Boy" in 2024. The US-American from Los Angeles then celebrated his most successful track to date with "Chest Pain (I Love)", which now has over 160 million streams on Spotify, entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 68 and brought his debut album "Malcolm Todd" into the Billboard 200. In November 2025, the 21-year-old singer is coming to Europe for the first time and will also be playing concerts in Berlin and Cologne on his The Wholesome Rockstar Tour Pt. 2.

Malcolm Todd was quickly introduced to music as a child in Los Angeles. His older sister Audrey Hobert is a singer and songwriter herself and best friends with Gracie Abrams, for whom she is a co-writer. At the age of 17, Malcolm Todd began writing his own songs and initially marketed them as unreleased tracks by Steve Lacy due to their musical similarity, which quickly brought him attention. His first EP "Demos Before Prom" was released in 2022, followed by his "Shower Shoes" EP in 2023. The musician finally made his breakthrough with the viral release of his single "Art House", which he further fueled with the songs "Sweet Boy" and "Roommates". In 2023, he made his live debut and signed with Columbia Records, who released his debut mixtape "Sweet Boy" in April 2024, which brought him on tour in North America as the opener for Omar Apollo. Malcolm Todd is still diligently striving to improve. This was also the case on his debut album "Malcolm Todd" (2025), with which he wanted to make his family and supporters proud, but also satisfy his fans. The result is an album on which the artist was able to be himself and write music without any fear. An album that is deeply connected to the songwriter's sound, for which his fans love him, and yet pushes the boundaries of his music outwards. The fact that the accompanying lead single "Chest Pain (I Love)" became his most successful track and the album entered the Billboard 200 at number 103 speaks to his unwavering ambitions.
