It's hard to believe, but the Norwegian band MALDITO is a hitherto largely undiscovered gem in the current music landscape of loud & heavy sounds. The Kultursommer Oldenburg 2025 will change that - toitoitoi!

The songs on their second album "Contact light" are even more complex, progressive and further removed from the mainstream than their debut "Heartlands". Here we experience geniuses evolving from blues to rock to metal - and yet there are still those typical, floating pop melody moments in the sound of the Norwegian band Maldito.

An exciting and intelligent mixture that is reminiscent of the great Norwegian band Motorpsycho, but is completely unique.

This music doesn't need to shy away from international and historical comparisons with Blue Oyster Cult, The Beatles or Yes.

Yes, we are big fans. But you will be too. And we're not alone!
