On Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1 pm, the Malkasten artists' association invites you to its traditional summer festival: with a varied program with lots of live music and culinary highlights. All interested citizens are welcome to enjoy the ambience of the historic park in the heart of Düsseldorf and spend a day with art and culture.
The summer festival begins with a music performance and the official welcome by the association's 1st chairman, Christoph Westermeier. This will be followed by further music acts in the Malkastenpark. The day will end on the dance floor in the artists' cellar. The current exhibitions in the Jacobihaus, the Hentrichhaus and the Malkastenforum will be open from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Admission to the summer festival is 5 euros for all visitors (both members and non-members).
