"A Soft Seduction Daily", Malva's second album, tells of ups and downs, serpentines and curves, romance and melancholy, plays with words, musical styles, life in the subjunctive - whereby even the quiet thoughtfulness tastes pleasantly bittersweet. On their second album, Malva and her musical partner Quirin begin to move in different directions, exploring the boundaries of their musical personality, and so "A Soft Seduction Daily" sounds a little louder at times. "How can we still be?" the two asked themselves, where the first album seemed rather fragile. On their new album, Malva have shed their infinite tenderness and draw on sources such as new wave sounds, jazz and soul, Hildegard Knef, sixties pop and even rock with their chanson indie pop.

The band achieves what not many can: being loud in silence. At a time when everything has to be faster, more massive and always one more thing, when every stimulus has to trump the next, MALVA has the unique gift of filling every Ion in a club, hall or venue with musical presence.
