Man with No Name, a film without words, shows a man who builds an existence outside the city, in a field that he cultivates and in a cave that he inhabits. Without dialog or explanatory commentary, the camera follows the everyday life of this nameless hermit over the course of a year and shows his daily routines. The film dispenses with music and interviews, allowing everyday images and sounds of the protagonist to take center stage - an extraordinary portrait that only reveals itself through the patient gaze of the viewer.
