MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND stands for catchy tunes such as "Blinded By The Light", Davy's On The Road Again", "MIGHTY QUINN" and "I Came For You". On May 17, the cult band will set off a firework display of hits in Stuttgart's Liederhalle.

MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND have made music history over more than five decades and still have an enormous fan base around the globe today. Their roots lie in the early 1960s: in 1962, the 22-year-old Manfred Mann founded his first band, which he simply named after himself for the sake of simplicity. Mann quickly achieved success in the charts with pop music.

By the end of the 1960s, this no longer fulfilled the ambitious musician. After a few years on the wings, he launched his Earth Band and became even more successful. The unique combination of rock music and jazz elements electrified fans all over the world. Manfred Mann put his unmistakable musical stamp on successful songs by other musicians. The Earth Band versions of the Bob Dylan songs "Blinded By The Light" or "Mighty Quinn" and many many others have long since become classics. And what the top-class formation, currently consisting of Manfred Mann (k, v), Mick Rogers (g, v), Steve Kinch (b), John Lingwood (dr) and Robert Hart (v), delivers live is absolutely top league.
