A grotesque about offended masculinity, misogyny and loneliness

An expert on loneliness and kitchen utensils who lives in the forest, a lovely woman who sings with animals, but above all a very angry social climber and a king trapped in himself and his majestic role enter the discourse battle ring. They shift power relations, undermine gender concepts and refuse to fail in the face of the patriarchal final opponent.

MÄNNCHEN is a performative-scenic amalgam of set pieces from the original fairy tale "Rumpelstiltskin", texts from sociology, psychology and cultural studies as well as documentary material from the "Manosphere", which raises the question of the interpretability of masculinity.
