Mara & Vela (live)
The duo from Stuttgart, consisting of singer Mara and producer Vela, impresses with clear and catchy productions, paired with urban energy and an infectious sense of freedom conveyed with ease. Clearly inspired by a techno aesthetic, both musically and visually, Mara and Vela deliver a timeless blueprint to pop music with contemporary influences.
Inspired by Christina Aguilera, Rosalía and Cro, the big stage is their declared goal. Emerging from the Stuttgart club scene and equipped with a local grassroots movement, Mara and Vela are ready to play their way to the fore.
Without musical blinkers, they create a sound that radiates melancholy and warmth as well as clear references to content. The symbiosis of lyrics and music is unmistakably the same signature and remains in the listener's memory.

Timbeau (live)
Timbeau describes his music simply as pop - by which he means his very own mix of synthpop, Neue Deutsche Welle and indie postpunk with disco influences.
As a multi-instrumentalist, he creates intimate and authentic songs that deal with heavy topics such as mental health or critical masculinity in a humorous and accessible way. His lyrics are in German, where he makes it a point to celebrate the cringe-worthy feel of the German language. Timbeau is a border crosser who places great value on the visual. This is clearly evident in the attention to detail in his music videos.
After his debut album "Wundersam", Timbeau's project evolved from DIY bedroom pop to adept studio work with band intervention. The second album "Sensitiv" is out now: in January 2025. Live, Timbeau aka Tim Bohner sits on the drums and sings, together with Florian Schirmer (keys), Hannes Scherf (bass) and Marius Schwingel (guitar).

Tabula Rosa (DJ set)
We make tabula rasa with Tabula Rosa! Feelgood trance, feelbad techno with a bit of Feeleverything pop. Infused with crispy edits and bouncy beats - rousing and fast, accidentally heating up the dancefloor, oopsi!
As part of the Trendsport group, the Sunny High Club and as co-organizer of the Interkollektive Meetup, Rosa is actively involved in shaping Stuttgart's subculture.

The Sound of Stuttgart - Music Festival & Exhibition powered by Sparda-Bank BW can be seen and heard from February 6 to 16, 2025. In a unique spatial atmosphere, designed by trabanten.kollektiv, this festival will be a cultural journey of discovery that presents the sound of the city from a wide variety of perspectives.
