Marc Broussard - that is Bayou Soul at its finest. The musical work of the singer, guitarist and composer from Louisiana combines elements of blues, country and folk as well as funk, rock and soul. Marc Broussard has been delighting a steadily growing circle of fans with his music for over 20 years. His cover versions are legendary. The Solomon Burke and Dirty Dancing classic "Cry To Me", for example, became a veritable YouTube hit with 55 million clicks. Of course, this song, like his US hit "Home", is a must at the concerts. For Marc Broussard, this song, which has accompanied him for years, stands for everything that is important to him - old-school Southern roots, home, friends, family, earthiness and authenticity.

With his four "S.O.S." ("Save Our Soul") charity albums to date, Marc Broussard has not only attracted a lot of attention, but above all provided concrete financial help, be it for a homeless shelter, a children's hospital or charitable foundations. "S.O.S. 4: Blues For Your Soul", which featured Joe Bonamassa and Eric Krasno among others, made it to number one in the US blues charts last year.
