Märchenstraße _ Hörspaziergang auf dem Dulsberg

In the organizer's words:

Märchenstraße - An audio walk on the Dulsberg on September 6 and 7

Märchenstraße is an audio walk that will take place on September 6 and 7 at 15:00 on the Dulsberg. The meeting point is at the Atelier, Kunst im Quartier, Straßburger Str. 30, 22049 Hamburg, where participants will receive headphones and a map and explore the district together with an audio guide.

The walk was created by Ji Hyung Nam, the neighborhood artist from SAGA GWG Stiftung Nachbarschaft, and together with six artists from Dulsberg - including Pia Preuß (costume designer), Tosca Kohberg (painter), Sebastian Schuster (photographer), Irmela Petersen(visual artist), Tatjana Büchler (painter) and Delio Malär ( musician) - a fairytale route was created. There are six stories in total, which are told in about one and a half hours. The tour begins in the 'Kunst im Quartier' studio, leads through the beautiful red brick buildings of Dulsberg and onto a meadow in the green corridor, where the fairytale castle, an artistically designed installation, takes center stage. The participants then return to the studios.

The six artists have lived in Dulsberg for between two and over forty years and have incorporated their own experiences and observations into the stories. These range from surreal phenomena to everyday observations while shopping at Penny's to neighborhood stories.

The fairytale route also includes a scavenger hunt consisting of six stations. Various games and riddles are hidden at each station to discover the region in a fun way. Discover the hidden stories and the creative works of local artists along the Dulsberg Fairytale Route. A special surprise awaits the winner of the Fairytale Route scavenger hunt.

Free participation in the Fairy Tale Route is limited to 20 people per day, i.e. a total of 40 participants. Interested parties can register in advance by emailing jihyungnam@aol.comanmelden.

If you are unable to take part in the audio walk, you can visit the fairytale castle during the two weeks and experience the stories there. The fairytale castle is open to the public from August 23 to September 7 . QR codes are attached to six seating areas designed by the artists, which you can use to listen to the stories on your smartphone.

On the last day, September 7, after the audio walk tour, there will be an after-party where all participants can celebrate together and round off the day.

The Fairy Tale Route offers a unique opportunity to discover the lively stories, creative works and hidden secrets of Dulsberg.

We look forward to your participation!
