Marcus Friedeberg – Album Release

As frontman of the bands "Off Limits" and "Pangea", the charismatic musician from Oldenburg is already known to many folk fans. The program of his concerts promises an exciting mix of different musical styles, cleverly interwoven into a musical journey with stops in Norway, Ireland, America and the Orient.

Whether fast-paced and danceable or tender and virtuoso - the soulful singer easily reaches people's hearts with his very own musical style. Through the skillful use of his loop station (made famous by Ed Sheeran and Tash Sultana, among others), various instruments merge almost magically into complex arrangements. With voice, guitar, didgeridoo, Irish flutes and drum sounds, the audience experiences first-hand how a song is created. Marcus also likes to involve the audience spontaneously, e.g. as a backing choir.

On Saturday, May 24, Marcus will present his new album "Hunter's Moon" in the Cadillac. "Hunter's Moon" is an extraordinary folk album with many surprising facets. The album contains 14 songs that take the listener on a musical adventure into another, strange world. For all concert-goers who would like to take a piece of the magic home with them, the album will be available on the release evening as a CD in a digipack or on vinyl LP.
