With the blues in his blood, 29-year-old Marcus King has been a successful guitarist and singer since his youth. Both with The Marcus King Band and as a solo artist, the US-American has enjoyed international success and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Americana Album for his solo debut album "El Dorado" in 2021. There is no question that the former blues rock prodigy has long since become a seasoned musician who has matured musically with age after playing shows as the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chris Stapleton and Eric Clapton. On his latest album "Mood Swings" , Marcus King once again shines with his powerful voice, mature songwriting and rousing ballads. After a headline tour in fall 2024, the musician returns to Germany in July on his Europe Summer 2025 Tour for concerts in Munich, Frankfurt and Dortmund.

Marcus King was given the destiny to make music by his father, the blues guitarist Marvin King. Barely eight years old, the two were already performing together and Marcus King was in the spotlight for the first time. At the age of 17, the guitarist and singer founded The Marcus King Band. With the albums "Soul Inside" (2015), "Marcus King Band" (2016) and "Carolina Confessions" (2018), the musician developed his own take on modern blues rock and southern rock. Marcus King dedicated himself to his solo career back in 2017. The corresponding debut album "El Dorado" entered the Billboard 200 and the German album charts directly in 2020, where the record reached number 64. In 2022, he followed this up with his second album "The Working Man", which reached number 1 in the US blues charts. Building on the classic rock influences of the album, Marcus King continued to develop his sound. His third solo album "Mood Swings" was released in spring 2024, which opened up his sound further and revealed a stirring ballad in "Delilah", while "F*ck My Life Up Aagin" boasts symphonic sounds and gospel influences.

In 2024, Marcus King contributed the song "Sucker" to the soundtrack of the second season of the "League Of Legends" series "Arcane", which takes the singer into modern and futuristic pop spheres. The title quickly became the musician's new top track, once again demonstrating the enormous versatility of his guitar playing and voice. After an acoustic tour of the USA in December 2024, the guitarist also announced the return of the Marcus King Band with a tour of the USA in April 2025, before returning to Europe with the band in the summer of that year.
