Marei - Stück vom Glück

Houseplants, morning sun and a hint of coffee tickling your nose. When Marei and her guitar begin to tell their stories, they transform any stage, no matter how dusty, into a blooming
stage into a blossoming idyll for this music somewhere between jazz, folk and acoustic pop. Together with her band, the young singer from Hanover is now celebrating the release of her first EP Stück vom Glück. In these poetic songs, Marei takes a deep look into the soul, down-to-earth and unagitated, sometimes singing with depth and emphasis, sometimes with delicate lightness, melted chocolate in jacket pockets and longing hidden in the trunk.
Acoustic guitar sounds weave atmospheric melodies with the penetrating warmth of flugelhorn and double bass, while the restrained pulse of the drums brings the stories to life. Stück vom Glück feels like the embrace of a loved one and therefore
person and thus fits perfectly into the small store and island of goodness.
