The German-Tunisian singer developed her love of music at an early age. She only discovered singing in her youth. In her songs, the singer from Göttingen takes the listener on an oriental journey in search of her North African roots. Stylistically, she moves melodically, harmonically and rhythmically in contemporary jazz, which knows no regional boundaries. Her voice, sometimes rousing, sometimes velvety soft, is accompanied by a trio that provides top-class accompaniment to Mariam Lazizi's compositions and adds improvisational highlights
